Drop Biscuits

It’s one of the items most missed when eating a low carb diet; bread. There are many great bread recipes for a keto lifestyle, but they are usually time consuming and pretty labor intensive to make. What if you have a craving for bread right NOW? (that’s me saying that… often… I want bread, NOW!!Continue reading “Drop Biscuits”

Keto Fudge

Normally I like to add a whole intro to my recipes on the site… with this one it’s not needed and also…. you don’t have time to read it because you really want to start gathering your ingredients and start creating this fudge. it.Is.So.Good. Enjoy! Ingredients 1 stick salted butter (113 g) 1 heaping 1Continue reading “Keto Fudge”

Tartar Sauce

The perfect addition to a fish fry, this condiment is easy to whip up and tastes super decadent. It doesn’t limit itself to the traditional pairing with fish though… I imagine it’ll taste great on any bunless burger or chicken “sandwich” too! What is Keto?

When you eat “Keto”, you strive to keep your carbohydrates low (20-50 grams a day) your proteins moderate and your fat intake high.

There is so much to share about this way of eating, but to keep it simple for now, it is a high fat way of eating that can reap major health benefits in the long run.

Please know, that all of the featured recipes are high in fats and low in carbohydrates. If you are not following a Keto lifestyle, these recipes might not be suitable for your dietary needs.

Quick Keto tips
  • Always check the label on the products you use. You may think they are low in carbs, but you’ll be surprised how much sugars are added to various products.
  • Just because something is Keto, doesn’t mean that it can be eaten in unlimited amounts. Except for Rebel ice cream….. nah, just kidding… I wish 🙂
  • Natural sugars are sugars too! Just because honey is a natural sugar, doesn’t mean it doesn’t raise your blood sugar.
  • Drink your water!

Taking care of your body and eating healthy doesn’t mean your tastebuds have to suffer!

Don’t give up and take it one step at a time. Everyone messes up, but consistency is key. If you’re consistent, those messy days will matter less.
