Special Event! Vegetarian Week

I have gotten so many requests of people who were wondering how to do keto when you don’t eat meat that I thought it would be great to do a whole week of vegetarian options!

New recipes will be posted daily and I’ll add a new category on my website so the recipes can be easily found. This week the dishes will be completely free of meat and fish. If you have any keto dishes you would like to see a vegetarian option of, please let me know!

I would LOVE to be able to show you how to eat low carb when you choose not to eat meat. Hope you’ll join me in the fun!

What is Keto?

When you eat “Keto”, you strive to keep your carbohydrates low (20-50 grams a day) your proteins moderate and your fat intake high.

There is so much to share about this way of eating, but to keep it simple for now, it is a high fat way of eating that can reap major health benefits in the long run.

Please know, that all of the featured recipes are high in fats and low in carbohydrates. If you are not following a Keto lifestyle, these recipes might not be suitable for your dietary needs.

Quick Keto tips
  • Always check the label on the products you use. You may think they are low in carbs, but you’ll be surprised how much sugars are added to various products.
  • Just because something is Keto, doesn’t mean that it can be eaten in unlimited amounts. Except for Rebel ice cream….. nah, just kidding… I wish 🙂
  • Natural sugars are sugars too! Just because honey is a natural sugar, doesn’t mean it doesn’t raise your blood sugar.
  • Drink your water!

Taking care of your body and eating healthy doesn’t mean your tastebuds have to suffer!
